| Customer Reviews: Maybe a good paper weight? August 30, 2010 Dennis W. Smith This anchor does not hold in even the lightest of swells. I tried manually burying it in the hopes of getting to to hold - no joy, with just a little pull, it came right out of the sandy bottom. On the other hand, the 15yo folding grapnel style anchor on my wife's PWC, held flawlessly. What really worked the best was the $1.99 screw in dog anchor I purchased at Harbor freight. That, a bit of polypropylene and a stainless snap hook work better than any PWC anchor I've ever seen, and at less than $10, not a bad deal either.
Does the job! July 21, 2010 ZD 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works exactly as advertised, and is compact enough to fit on/in any PWC. I'd recommend it without reservation.
Good for size! July 7, 2010 S. Rayne (VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got it and it works pretty good for it's small size, takes up very little room in storage areas. Ditched the storage bag as it takes too long to get it out and hard to fit everything back in. I'm gonna put a quick connect and a float on the end so I don't loose it in the water.
Great for casual use! November 25, 2009 Greg Ewing 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was a little worried at the beginning that this anchor was going to be too small for my 3 person jetski but I wanted something to have onboard in case I need to anchor somewhere or want to leave it offshore while I go into the beach. It proved to be a great investment. Works pretty darn good for a small anchor and is coated nicely with a rubberized coating. With the coating and the bag, this doesnt damage anything or make any noticeable noise when hitting wakes or riding. I would recommend it as long as you dont plan on anchoring in large swells or heavy currents.
