This pump SUCKS...but in a good way. August 18, 2010 Matty Boy (NY) Makes fast work of water on your cover. good price and way better than the junk you get at some of the pool stores.
Good a frist, crappy later July 28, 2010 Art I have had two, (no I never learn). Both worked great for the first year and by the mid point of the second year began working intermittently and finally gave up the ghost by the 3rd year.
Hose connection cracked in first year July 10, 2010 Aaron Fessler (Mendham, NJ USA) Worked great, then the plastic connection between the hose and the pump cracked after approximately 1 year of use.
Fourth pump in 7 years June 30, 2010 Gary Harris (Kentucky) I am currently on my fourth pump in about 7 years. The first lasted about 4 years, and I was impressed with it's ability, even during the winter. It shorted out and RULE replaced it, even after that length of time. That pump lasted two years and burned out last year. RULE sent a speedy (3-4 weeks) replacement. THe replacement works fine so far, but I have only used it once. While waiting for my replacement we got a lot of rain and I bought my 4th pump which worked for about a week and then died. I hope RULE will be as good with Customer support as they have been before.
THis looks like a great pump and the theory and design is impressive, but mine have not worked very well. If it weren't for their excellent customer support, I would select one of the other pumps.
Pool cover pump June 24, 2010 James A. Logsdon This product is just what I needed. Did the job in know time at all and was able to keep up with all the rain that I was getting.
