Product Description Coleman, 2 Pack, 45" Plastic Oars, Contoured Blades For Improved Performance, Ribbed For Increased Durability, Easy To Assemble.
Product Description Designed for use with Coleman inflatable boats, these two 45-inch plastic oars feature contoured, shovel-shaped blades that make it easy to propel a boat quickly. The oars are ribbed for durability and are easy to assemble and disassemble for storage and portability. About Coleman The Coleman Company has been creating and innovating products for recreational outdoor use since W.C. Coleman started selling gasoline-powered lanterns in 1900. Inventor of the hugely popular fold-up camp stove, Coleman developed a plastic liner for his galvanized steel coolers in 1957--the birth of the modern cooler--and the company has been improving their utility and design ever since. The array of products that bear the Coleman name now includes just about everything you might need to work or play outdoors, from tents and sleeping bags to boats, backpacks, and furniture.

Broke During First Use August 6, 2008 I had low expectations when I first bought these oars, but I expected them to last longer than what they did. I took a casual trip around a local lake and the connecting piece on one of the oars cracked within the first twenty minutes. These were basically a complete waste of money since now I must buy a more expensive pair on top of this one to replace that one. Cheap price but very cheap quality also.
You Get What You Pay For July 17, 2008 When you put them together ensure as much of the thread on the rod end as possible is in the fastner or it will brake more easily. The oars are very small and make it difficult to propel or steer larger rafts. Price may be worth the work.
Prone to snapping June 26, 2008 I used these in combination with my coleman raft. After 3 trips out the plastic part in the center that hold the top half and the bottom half together snapped.
I guess you can't expect too much for $8
Amazingly good for the price February 23, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got these oars with low expectations, but they are actually pretty nice. They easily come apart to pack in a tiny space, and they are quite sturdy. I used them with a small dinghy, and if I pulled as hard as I could I could feel and see them flex, but they did not break. To make them perfect, the blades could be little longer, and the shafts could be more rigid and join together to make a double paddle, but what do you want for less than ten bucks.
