Product Description Yakgrips are great new paddling accessory. These simple, light weight additions to your favorite paddle will greatly improve your paddling experience. They are available for take apart and solid shaft paddles. These simple but ingenious devices are easy to install or remove. Some paddlers will deny they need them until the day they try them! Other paddlers know on sight that this is the accessory that they must have. Either way you can't go wrong with Yakgrips.

Great product October 31, 2008 These yak grips are "THE BOMB". They are awesome on long trips providing comfort for your hands. The only aggravating part was getting them on the paddle. They are worth every penny.
Absolutely AWESOME Product!!!! October 24, 2008 Everyone is either going to love these...or not...I LOVE them. I'm an endurance paddler and found these just before my third 100 mile kayak race. My hands WERE (please note past tense!) a moonscape of callouses and blisters. I have never had my hands feel as good as they did at the end of the race!!! Now, other parts of my body still hurt like heck...but the hands were incredibly good. They are worth trying out if you do any kind of distance paddling. Yes, they will move on you, but like someone else pointed out, it only takes a second to readjust them. And for me the long distance comfort way outweighs that slight inconvenience. I've now bought pairs for all my and my husband's paddles and have given several sets to friends.
paddle grip handles September 23, 2008 The idea is good but the left keeps slipping. Hard to get on the right side.
Didn't work for me... September 10, 2008 I was not pleased with the Yakgrips. I'm a "wet" paddler -- because of that, the grips kept moving on the paddle shaft. Messed up my stroke and required frequent stops to move them back into position. Also, the seam on the grip, combined with being wet, seemed to contribute to blistering. I do not recommend them.
What a relief! July 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm relatively new to kayaking and I was getting blisters which made paddling very painful. I was starting to develop calluses and thought I would have to resort to wearing gloves. I'm glad I found these Yakgrips instead. They were a terrific solution. They provided just the right amount of cushioning. I have small hands and they didn't increase the size of the grip too much for me.
They were, however, very difficult to get onto the paddles, but once in place they stayed where I put them.
