| Customer Reviews: Great Deal vs. Buying Local April 25, 2010 Daniel P. Eschete Jr. (New Orleans, LA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This dolly was $200 less shipped than similar models that I was looking at locally. The dolly was easy to assemble and easily moves my 5x8 cargo trailer loaded down with band gear. It makes the tight turns that I needed to park the trailer on the 2nd spot of my carport without hitting the house, and I can position the trailer even if a car is parked in the 1st position.
The dolly works best on level flat surfaces, but I think that should be expected. Rough ground is more easily overcome than an incline. For an incline, if the trailer is loaded, you will have a hard time because of the weight, not the dolly. It's very easy to get the trailer in motion and very easy to control.
I'd recommend this item to anyone who needs to move a trailer in a tight space on a fairly level grade without hesitation, and I'd buy it again.

I store my Zodiac 420 Dlx YL / Yamaha 50 in a "boathouse" that has a 90' turn at the approach...being somewhat backing challenged this has helped tremendously...approach the driveway...back through the straight section...unhook from the vehicle and hook this up and walk it around the corner and into the garage...
works as advertised...well made...easy assembly
