Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
Designed for inflating and deflating beds, boats, and other inflatable items, this cordless, rechargeable electric pump makes the chore fast and easy. It works with Coleman double-lock and quick valves, Boston valves, and pinch valves, and is compatible with all Coleman beds and inflatables, as well most other inflatable products. It does not, however, work with stem and needle valves, such as those in basketballs, bike tires, etc. For valves other than pinch valves, there's an adapter nozzle, and for pinch valves there's a separate adapter. The pump inflates from one end and deflates from the other. A plug-in transformer comes with the pump to charge the battery. --Fred Brack

4 out of 5 stars excellent pump   January 3, 2009
I was shocked by how well this pump worked compared to my Coleman 4d quickpump. This rechargeable pump is much more powerful and filled my sons twin mattress in under a minute. I especially liked using it to deflate my kids inflatable bouncer. The charge holds for several days. My only disappointment was that the nozel adapters did not interchange between this and the 4d quickpump. I had hoped to be able to use them interchangeably.

1 out of 5 stars Very, very loud   December 22, 2008

I bought this pump recently and was shocked about how loud it was. Just an ear piercing screeching noise that was horrendous. Took me about 15 minutes to inflate a queen size air mattress, and it didn't even inflate completely. I recommend keeping the return information until you actually charge and use it and not to pay attention to the flier in the box that says to call Coleman if you have any problems.

1 out of 5 stars Never Worked and Unreturnable   December 12, 2008

This pump is an absolute piece of junk. Straight out of the box, it never worked. It's just a big hunk of useless plastic. Doesn't turn on, doesn't take a charge.
In addition, to return it, you have to get yourself to a Coleman Repair/Distribution center. If one of those isn't reachable (and it probably isn't), you have to ship it to them and YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING. So it'll cost about what you paid for it just to get your money back.
Complete Rip Off. Absolute Waste of Time and Money.

5 out of 5 stars Works Like a Dream   December 4, 2008
It just keeps blowing and blowing. It'll blow up your air mattress 20 times before it even needs a nap, or a recharge. This thing really does work like a dream; it blows harder than your mother and the battery lasts forever. This is the best. Get it. Use it. Love it. Enjoy it. On an air mattress. Under the stars. In your parents basement. Keep it in your car along with an air mattress and you and your significant other are good to go wherever you are. Fantastic!

5 out of 5 stars Camping Lifesaver!   December 2, 2008
My husband and I enjoy camping at secluded sites that do not have water and electricity, however, we found the ground to be overly hard on our aging bodies. I bought this pump almost a year ago and it has made our camping experience much more enjoyable. It is light weight - so easy to transport along with 2 twin mattresses out to our camp site - and it takes less than a minute to inflate the beds. The added bonus is that instead of trying to squeeze the air out the old fashioned way - the pump also easily deflates the beds for efficient packing.

If you want the comfort of an air mattress while enjoying the serenity of primitive camp sites - this rechargeable pump is a must have! Simply let it charge overnight before going on you trip and you should have more than enough power to quickly set-up and break-down you bedding.

I even took this with me to visit my sister. Because of limited space I had to inflate the bed each night, then deflate it each morning to move it out of the way. Even after a week of doing this - the pump performed wonderfully and never had to be recharged!
